We have signed two memorandums of understanding (MOUs) aimed at decarbonizing the Indian cement and concrete sector and participated in various sessions to represent the sector. This year has been one of significant action, and we look forward to more engagements in the next year.

GCCA India in Cement Expo Forum

GCCA India - Global Cement and Concrete Association, India was invited to participate in the Cement Expo Forum 2025, which took place in Hyderabad on February 5th and 6th, 2025. Kaustubh Phadke moderated a panel discussion on Decarbonization Strategies for Progress. This session included insights from several experts, such as Manoj Kumar Rustagi, Chief Sustainability Officer at JSW Cement; Ulhas Parlikar, Global Consultant for Waste Management and Circular Economy; K N RAO, Corporate Head of ESG at My Home Industries Private Limited; and madhava reddy, Head of Environment at HeidelbergCement India. The panel discussion was insightful, addressing the challenges faced by the cement and concrete industry and proposing policy recommendations for overcoming those challenges.
